1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the EaseCab platform (easecab.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use EaseCab.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EaseCab. Please read them carefully.
2. Who Can Use EaseCab
EaseCab is exclusively a supply-side platform for:
- Taxi drivers operating commercial vehicles
- Vehicle owners and fleet operators
- Taxi vendors and travel agents arranging outstation or airport duties
Passenger accounts are not offered. EaseCab does not provide a passenger ride-booking service. You must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally authorised to operate or arrange commercial vehicle services in India
- Provide a valid Indian mobile number for authentication
By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements above.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You must register using a valid Indian mobile number. Authentication is via one-time password (OTP).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and must not share access with any third party.
- You must promptly notify us at support@easecab.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- EaseCab is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to secure your account.
4. KYC Verification
To post your own ride leads, you must complete identity verification (KYC) by submitting at least one of the following. Identity verification is not required to view contact details on ride leads — viewing contacts requires only an active trial or paid subscription.
- Aadhaar OTP verification
- Driving Licence number verification
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) verification
A "verified" trust badge is granted only after our team approves your submitted documents.
By submitting KYC information, you confirm that all details are accurate and genuine. Submitting false or fraudulent documents will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.
5. Subscription and Pricing
5.1 Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all platform features. No payment is required during the trial.
5.2 Paid Subscription
After the trial period, continued access to contact features and posting requires a paid subscription at ₹149 per month on a 30-day rolling basis.
5.3 Renewal and Stacking
If you renew before your current subscription expires, the remaining days are added to your new 30-day period. Early renewal stacks — it does not reset your expiry date.
5.4 Billing
Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to charge your chosen payment method on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid.
5.5 No Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable Indian law. If you cancel mid-period, your access continues until the end of the paid period. No credit or proration is issued for unused days.
5.6 Pricing Changes
We may change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice via in-app notification before any price increase takes effect on your account.
6. What EaseCab Provides
EaseCab provides:
- A real-time feed of taxi ride leads sourced from WhatsApp groups
- Automated deduplication to reduce repeated leads
- City-based filtering and targeted push notifications for new leads
- In-app contact (phone number reveal) for subscribed and verified users
- 1:1 in-app chat between verified users on a confirmed ride contact
- KYC-backed trust badges for identity-verified members
- Ability to post your own rides (24-hour visibility)
7. What EaseCab Does Not Guarantee
EaseCab is an information and communication platform. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any individual ride lead
- Availability of leads in any specific city or time period
- That any contact will result in a booking or payment
- Any level of earnings or revenue from using the platform
- Uninterrupted, error-free availability of the platform at all times
Ride leads are sourced from user-generated WhatsApp messages. EaseCab is not responsible for the accuracy of lead details posted by third parties.
8. Soft Gate Policy
Users who have not subscribed or completed KYC may view the ride feed at all times. Access restrictions apply only at specific action points:
- Viewing a contact number: requires an active trial or paid subscription
- Posting a ride: requires identity verification (at least one KYC document submitted)
Browsing the feed does not constitute access to premium features. No premium action is performed without your confirmation.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Post false, misleading, inaccurate, or abusive ride leads
- Use the platform to solicit passengers directly as a ride-hailing service
- Share your login credentials or account access with any other person
- Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access or scrape the platform or its data
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any platform security measure
- Submit false or fraudulent KYC documents
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through in-app chat
- Use the platform for any purpose that violates Indian law
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit ride lead data
10. Ride Lead Content
Ride leads are sourced from a WhatsApp group and posted by real operators. EaseCab processes and deduplicates these leads but does not create or verify their content.
When you post a ride on EaseCab, you confirm the information is accurate, the ride is genuine, and you have the authority to offer it.
EaseCab reserves the right to remove any posted ride that violates these Terms or is reported as inaccurate.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
EaseCab may suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if you:
- Violate any provision of these Terms
- Submit false or fraudulent KYC information
- Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or spammy behaviour
- Attempt to manipulate or game the ride lead feed
- Use the platform in a manner harmful to other users or the platform's integrity
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. No refund is issued for remaining subscription days. You may appeal a suspension by contacting support@easecab.com.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design, code, and features of EaseCab are the exclusive property of EaseCab. You may not use our name, logo, or any platform content without prior written permission. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property licence beyond the right to use the platform as a registered user.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, EaseCab's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the subscription amount you paid in the 30 days immediately preceding the claim.
EaseCab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of income, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
EaseCab is a platform intermediary and is not party to any transaction, agreement, or dispute between drivers and ride requesters.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold EaseCab harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of the platform
- False or fraudulent KYC submissions
- Disputes between you and other users or third parties
- Any content you post on the platform
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
EaseCab is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of EaseCab after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of EaseCab shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chandigarh, India.
